EB Games Gift Card Competition!

Guess what? We are having another competition!

In this competition, you could win an EB Games Gift Card! We will be giving away a total of three gift cards.

To enter, just let us know what you would like to see on our website, in 50 words or less. It can be whatever you want it to be, preferably something that relates to LAN parties or games in some way. It could even be something that we are already working on, or that we hope to work on in the future.

To help you out, have a look at our About Us page, which can be found at the lower right hand corner of the website.

The most interesting / thought-provoking entry will win an $80 EB Games Gift Card. The other two EB Games Gift Cards, valued at $50 each, will be given to two randomly selected entrants.

This competition will be open for 3 months from today. Entrants should email LAN Link (admin@lanlink.network) with the subject 'EB Games Gift Card Competition', and give an answer to the question, "What would you like to see on our website?" All entries must contain the entrant's first name, surname and postal address, so that LAN Link can verify the eligibility of each entrant.

Note that you do not need to register for a LAN Link forum account to enter.

Terms and Conditions:
1. It is presumed that whoever enters the competition ('entrants'), that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms, conditions, and disclaimer (follows the terms and conditions).
2. The 'EB Games Gift Card Competition' commences at midnight on Sunday the 6th of December, 2015. The competition closes at midnight on Sunday the 29th of February, 2016. Entries received after midnight on Sunday the 29th of February, will be considered null and void.
3. Entrants must be permanent residents of Australia, to be eligible to enter the competition.
4. The competition is not open to the family members or immediate relatives of LAN Link administrators (the hosts of the competition).
5. The competition is one of both of skill and chance. It is possible for entrants to be eligible to win one (1) of three (3) EB Games Gift Cards.
6. Skill component: Entrants must answer the question provided in 50 words or less. The entrant that submits an answer that is considered the most interesting or thought-provoking (while remaining within the 50 word limit), will be deemed the winner of an $80 EB Games Gift Card. Entrants can improve their chances of winning the skill component of the competition, if they provide an interesting or thought-provoking answer to the question.
7. Chance component: After the winner of the skill component has been chosen, two entrants will be randomly selected from the remainder of the list of eligible entrants participating in the competition, and will receive a $50 EB Games Gift Card each.
8. Each individual entrant may only enter the competition once; further submissions received by particular entrants will be considered null and void.
9. Entrants may enter the competition by sending LAN Link an email, meeting the following requirements:
a) the email is sent to the following address: admin@lanlink.network , using the subject 'EB Games Gift Card Competition'; and:
b) the answer to the question provided (50 words or less), is typed into the body of the same email.
10. The first name, surname and postal address of each entrant is required, due to the following:
a) to verify the eligibility of an entrant, for the reasons mentioned in points 3 and 8
b) so that the prize can be delivered to the entrant, should he/she be declared the winner of one of the prizes.
11. To be eligible, the winner of the competition must have sent us their details either during the competition, or within 7 days after the end of the competition. These details should be provided in an email to LAN Link. The email must contain the first name, surname and postal address of the entrant, and be using the subject 'EB Games Gift Card Competition'.
12. Once the prizes have been drawn, the winners will be contacted using the same email address they used to enter the competition with.
13. LAN Link reserves the right to use the first, surname, state, and answers of the winners of the competition, to publicly announce the winners on the LAN Link website (lanlink.network).
14. The personal details received from entrants will not be used for any purpose other than those mentioned in points 10, 11, and 12.

Disclaimer: Gift Cards are not transferable or refundable for cash. Gift cards must be used within 12 months of purchase. Please refer to the EB Games website for their terms and conditions on gift cards.
