This section of our website shows statistics of public LAN Parties and other public games events across Australia. It is compiled from data within the LAN Link database, which in turn is extracted from information on games groups and their events, in the past, present and future.

To view a list of groups, events or games based on their totals, click on the relevant total and the list will be displayed here.

Please Note: While we would like this data to be comprehensive, it is still missing lots of information. Many groups and their events are missing prior to the year 2015, and are yet to be added. For the time being, we will display basic data sets in tables to give a more general indication of LAN party / game group activities, while graphs will come later.

Active Groups This graph shows the total number of active groups over the last 8 years, divided along quarterly periods. LAN Link’s definition of an ‘Active Group’ is an organisation that has held a public electronic games event (video games or PC games) in the last 13 months.
